In certain times of the season, your grass grows rapidly enough to require bagging and removing clippings in order to reduce thatch buildup. We monitor growing conditions and will bag as required.

No. We aim for consistent schedules, however weather conditions and other variables require schedule changes. You can expect your lawn to be mowed once per week, however the day may change from week to week.

No. Certain weeds such as goutweed, chickweed, Creeping Charlie, crabgrass, quackgrass and others are difficult to kill using our products. It is recommended that you remove these weeds by hand.

You will be notified of a 2-3 week window for your lawn treatment application, however we cannot provide an exact day.

We will include these instructions in the email notification prior to each application. For most applications, we recommend staying off for 24 hours after the application.

Yes. Our company is licensed to carry out commercial pesticide applications and our staff hold class III (D) applicator licenses. For this reason, our staff are trained in the safe application of these products. The Pest Control Products Act (PCPA) act in Canada has strict regulations governing the safety, effectiveness, and merits of pesticide products before they can be sold to licensed pesticide applicators.

Our basic services include clearing the snow off your driveway only. No salting or hand shovelling is included with this service. Our all-inclusive service includes clearing snow off of your driveway and shovelling one entrance, as well as salting those areas.

We constantly monitor changing weather conditions during the winter and dispatch crews accordingly in order to provide reliable service.

At Armdale Lawn Care, we aim for the highest customer satisfaction as key to our continued growth and success. We adjust our staffing and equipment levels depending on the severity of the snow storms. We are generally able to have all of our customers able to get out of their driveways in the mornings as we clear the snow piles at the ends of the driveways a couple of times during heavy snow storms. However, we cannot guarantee a time that the driveway will be fully cleared to the pavement due to the nature and timing of snow storms. 

We will return within 24 hours to re-clear the end of your driveway, so you don’t have to worry about calling us.
